Chairing a Session at Diabetes Karnataka 2026 – A Proud Milestone in My Academic Journey
I was honoured to be invited as Faculty and Session Chairperson at Diabetes Karnataka 2026, a prestigious state-level diabetes conference held on 13th–14th June 2026 at Welcomhotel by ITC, Belagavi. The conference brought together leading physicians, diabetologists, endocrinologists, and healthcare professionals from across Karnataka to discuss the latest advances in diabetes care and metabolic health.
One of the highlights of the conference for me was chairing the scientific session on “Nutritional Strategies to Blunt Postprandial Hyperglycemia”, a topic of immense relevance in modern diabetes management. As a practicing Physician and Diabetologist from Hubballi, I had the privilege of moderating discussions alongside renowned experts and contributing to evidence-based conversations that can directly improve patient outcomes. The scientific program specifically listed me among the chairpersons for this important session, reflecting the trust placed in my academic and clinical expertise.
The conference featured distinguished national and international faculty, keynote lectures, panel discussions, and practical insights into diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular risk, kidney disease, and emerging therapies. Being part of such a high-quality academic platform was both professionally rewarding and intellectually enriching.
Over the years, my commitment has remained focused on delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care in diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and general medicine. Invitations to participate as faculty at major scientific meetings reinforce the importance of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the medical community.
I remain grateful to the organisers of Diabetes Karnataka 2026 for this opportunity and look forward to contributing further to academic medicine, physician education, and improved healthcare outcomes for patients across Karnataka.
